Team Organisation

Barry Lambert is a Director of Canford Healthcare Plc which owns Inglewood Nursing Home. He has been managing nursing homes since 1990 following a successful career in the NHS as a Clinical Psychologist. He has over 20 years experience in managing care homes and prides himself on offering a personal, professional service to all aspects of Canford Healthcare.

Care Home - General Manager

Debra McDonald is the General Manager and is responsible for the nursing care and the staff at Inglewood Nursing Home. Debra has a passion for quality in elderly care, and is a highly approachable and proactive Manager.

Care Home - Team Leaders

Inglewood has a group of team leaders who are members of staff trained to NVQ level 3 and have some supervisory responsibility for the new and less experienced staff. The Team Leaders also take responsibility for a particular area in the house incorporating about eight residents each for which they have day-to-day responsibility regarding their personal care, tidying of rooms and >that extra special attention to detail.

Care Home - Staff

Inglewood prides itself on the high standard of care we give our Residents twenty four hours a day, from our friendly and caring staff.

Fifty percent of our Health Care Assistants are trained to NVQ level 2 or 3 and our Team Leaders are trained to NVQ Level 3 in Direct Care and Management skills. Canford Healthcare has its own training centre with staff qualified as Internal NVQ Assessors,Moving and Handling Trainers, a Nurse Training Mentor and Practice Supervisors.
