Inglewood Nursing Home

Summer Fete at Inglewood

We held our Summer Fete on Saturday 18th August and with the sun on our side, it was a roaring success.

There were games for the young, and the old to get involved with, from the hook the duck, coconut shy and hoopla. Our bric-a-brac stalls also drew the crowds, with some fantastic items for sale and visitors could also buy a selection of delicious homemade cakes inside, a big thank you to Jonathan and Jade for all your baking efforts!

Strawberry cream tea was served in the dining room, which was a lovely chance for all our residents, friends, family and staff to gather together, catch up and enjoy the wonderful day.

The children were kept entertained with a mix of fluffy animals from PetPals, with guinea pigs and ducks who definitely got their fair share of cuddles!

If that wasn’t enough, we had a fantastic Elvis Presley impersonator who wooed the ladies, there were giggles and laughter from all.

The home would like to thank everyone who donated items, helped on the day and of course all of our family and friends for their continued support – until next year!
