Creativity and Cupcake Fun at Inglewood Care Home

Life at Inglewood Care Home is never short of fun, and our latest activity day was a lovely mix of creativity and baking. Residents spent the morning enjoying an arts and crafts session, where they made cheerful sunflower decorations. With splashes of yellow and green, the room soon looked brighter and full of colour, matched only by the smiles on everyone’s faces.

After the craft tables were cleared, it was time for a change of pace as the baking began. Residents got stuck in with measuring, mixing, and decorating cupcakes, filling the home with the comforting smell of fresh cakes in the oven. There was plenty of laughter along the way, and of course, a few taste tests too.

The best part came at the end of the day, when everyone sat down together to enjoy their freshly baked treats. These moments of shared creativity and conversation are what make our activity days so special. At Inglewood Care Home, it’s about more than just crafts and cakes, it’s about friendship, wellbeing, laughter, and making memories together.
