Two Special Visits Bring Music, Dance & Movement To Inglewood Nursing Home

At Inglewood Nursing Home in East Sussex, residents recently enjoyed two uplifting visits that brought energy, movement and plenty of smiles.
First to arrive were Mr Star and Miss Sunshine, whose ballroom dancing quickly brightened what had been a dull day weather wise. Their performance captivated everyone in the room, as they glided across the floor with elegance and charm. The highlight for many came when two residents were invited to join them. Laughter and applause shortly followed as confidence grew and everyone became involved.

The following visit brought a different but equally valuable experience. Matt and Anthony from Exercise for All led a lively session focused on gentle movement and wellbeing. Residents took part in a series of exercises designed to support joint mobility and muscle activation. The session blended fun with purpose, using games and inclusive activities to ensure everyone could participate at their own pace.
Both visits offered meaningful engagement and connection, reminding us how important shared experiences are in creating a vibrant and positive care home environment.
