Gardening Club Brings Residents Together At Inglewood

Residents at Inglewood have been making the most of the warmer weather by enjoying time outdoors as part of our popular Gardening Club. The sessions give everyone the opportunity to spend time in the fresh air while taking part in a relaxing activity that encourages conversation and shared experiences.
During one of our recent gardening sessions, residents carefully separated young sunflower seedlings before repotting each one into its own pot. By giving every plant more space to grow, our residents have helped provide the best possible start for the sunflowers, which we look forward to watching flourish throughout the summer.

The activity was enjoyed by everyone who took part, with residents working together at their own pace and taking great care as they repotted the seedlings. It has been wonderful to see the enthusiasm for gardening and the pride our residents have shown in looking after the plants.
At Inglewood Care Home, we believe activities like Gardening Club provide meaningful opportunities for residents to enjoy the outdoors and stay connected with the changing seasons. As our sunflowers continue to grow, they will be a lovely reminder of the time and care our residents have invested in them.
We are looking forward to many more gardening sessions over the summer and seeing the colourful results of everyone's hard work in our gardens.
