We always love to get out into the local area, and share happy memories when our residents were growing up in and around Eastbourne.
With our friends from Oomph Wellness we headed out to Hillier’s Garden Centre in Pevensey for a mooch around the centre and stop off for a cup of tea too!
Although we are only just into November the Garden Centre was beautifully decorated with all their Christmas decorations, transforming it into a magical wonderland. We all thoroughly enjoyed looking around the Christmas trees, ornate decorations and homeware gifts.
The chilly weather didn’t stop the residents looking at all the plants, shrubs and garden ornaments too, which sparked lots of conversation of when they tended to their own gardens – really happy memories!
After a busy afternoon of window shopping we headed into the warmth for a well deserved cup of tea.
